"The Underside of Hope"   [Rich Lowry]

My take on Obama and the "bitter" controversy. (Actually, to be more precise, it should probably be known as the "clinging" controversy.) As many liberal commentators have pointed out today, Hillary is a very poor representative of any populist backlash against Obama. Besides, many Democratic primary voters agree with Obama. The vulnerability comes in the general, and John Judis (h/t RCP) has an excellent explanation of why.
