Soldiering off [Mark Steyn]
Re my earlier post on the squeamishness of Nato countries involved in Afghanistan's ISAF (International Security Assistance Force), one of our (US) military readers writes:
When I was deployed to Afghanistan, we used to joke that ISAF stands for "I suck at fighting".
Harsh. But, given the absurdly constrained rules of engagement demanded by the Germans, Norwegians et al, not unfair.
