Romney Reax [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
Immediately after his speech, a social-conservative activst who was so not into him said to me "now that's more like it."
Not only was it a better speech but it was a good speech. He was confident — not just in himself as a candidate but on each issue he hit — taking on McCain, Republican spenders, and the president (the veto line). I'm certainly now confident he has no intention on leaving the competiton to McCain and Guiliani anytime soon.
