The non-New Yorker most interested in the NY-23 outcome: Marco Rubio, the GOP Senate candidate in Florida. If Hoffman wins, it will be a sign that conservative insurgencies can work. It will boost Rubio's morale and the morale of his supporters, plus help his fundraising.
