DNA Printing on Arrest   [Andy McCarthy]

Good for the intrepid Senators Kyl and Cornyn.  The Times reports this morning that the Justice Department will begin taking DNA just like it takes fingerprints and photographs when people are arrested.  You know this is a good thing to do not just because it's common sense but because all the right people are hysterical.  It's shaping up as one of those delicious controversies stoked by Lefty interest group politics since it pits feminists and privocrats against each other.  But the winner is all of us, since more dangerous criminals will be identified, prosecuted, jailed and, in many cases, deported.
