Maybe Speaker Pelosi Should Pass a Law Eliminating the Exec Branch   [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

I can't help but be in this we've-reached a tipping point and the sky is falling mood. Nancy shakes hands with Assad. The British hostage do their humiliating bit, goody bags in hand. Yesterday I listened to Richard Cohen go on on MSNBC about how he thinks John McCain looked silly in Iraq, via 60 Minutes — meanwhile I watch him talk about the war and like Jonah warm to him — for all is faults, how can you not? Now Nancy uses a Holocaust survivor to speculate about going to Iran.

Can we please stand athwart history yelling stop at this moment!?
