Hillary: My Vote for War Was Not A Vote for War.   [David Freddoso]

The Clintons argue that Hillary's vote for war in Iraq was not really a vote for war in Iraq. Chuck Hagel, whom they use as a (metaphorical) political human shield, declined to comment for the story.

I doubt that this line will sell well to the anti-war Left. Can't she just own up to it and say that it was a mistake? Do Clintons ever make mistakes?

It's a bit reminiscent of John Kerry, who urged unilateral action against Iraq in 2002, and by 2004 was blaming President Bush for doing exactly what he had suggested.
