Getting Outta Ames   [Byron York]

People are really clearing out of here. With the temperature still high, Romney Square, Brownbackville, Huckabeeland, and Ciudad Tancredo are relatively sparsely populated now, at 5pm CDT. (Brownback seems to have done the best at keeping his people around.) Voting goes on until 6 pm, but the results will not be announced until 7pm, when Romney will emerge from the Mittmobile, presumably to give a few celebratory words. The conventional wisdom seems to indicate Brownback is doing quite well; he's scheduled to meet reporters at 7:30. As far as Huckabee is concerned, everything looks a little smaller than expected, but you just can't tell at this moment.
