"Pro-Life, Pro-Obama"   [Ramesh Ponnuru]

The Matthew 25 Network—a group of left-wing Christians—has a new site up. They take the standard tack of pro-life Obama supporters. They completely ignore his opposition to parental consent, his support for taxpayer funding of abortion, and the like. What they do include is misleading. They quote Obama's Relevant interview, for example, in which he claimed that late-term abortions should be allowed only for serious medical reasons—a remark that made many people, including me, hope that Obama was moderating on the issue and might be willing to tighten existing law. They don't mention that in subsequent "clarifying" remarks, Obama took back the concession
