Perhaps NRO ought not be publicizing the fact that
S-CHIP as written would cover illegal aliens?
I mean, if someone is reading at the White House and
passes that info on to the President, I can easily
imagine him changing his mind on a veto ;-)
I should say that when a few of us hacks met with the president last week he was pretty clear and solid on how bad this legislation is — and how it's not about the poor children.
