New Mantra [Mark Steyn]
From June 1st, Canadians will need passports to enter the United States. They're not happy about it, nor about the "Buy American" provisions of the stimulus, come to that. For Canadians and Europeans, these points of contention chafe all the more because foreigners swooned for Barack Obama. The Montreal Gazette pleads:
But you don't have the excuse Bush did: He was dim and you're brilliant. So why blame us?
We'll be hearing a lot of that over the next four years.
