Maybe I spoke too soon in my earlier post, where I expressed pleasant surprise at recent immigration enforcement — a reader sent this story from Laredo, Texas, last week, which describes the local Border Patrol chief saying that "Border Patrol agents don't have the responsibility of apprehending illegal immigrants." Silly me!
