re: Romney on Abortion   [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

He talked about marriage too though. I thought he did a fairly comprehensive job — on the war, immigration, economy .... and life and marriage — with a restricted amount of time (I'm told its a 15-minute rule, including video intro). From memory now, I thought he gave a fair amount of time to culture broadly speaking.

That said: He certainly didn't rally any skeptics on abortion. Of course it was a probably a lose-lose for him on the issue: If he had, he would have been seen as clearly pandering to pro-life, single-issue Iowans.
