In a post-debate symposium up this morning, Al Felzenberg suggests that we could see Hillary Clinton running again in 2012.
Sorry, no. We've seen too much of ugly Hillary this cycle — the whining, the victimhood plays, the pointing, the shame-on-you shrillness, the lashing out. I can't imagine that gets prettier with time.
I am worried about Barack Obama — he's intoxicating in ways John McCain will never be. But it's a long way to November yet and sobriety can be achieved. For now, the Clintons out of the picture won't be a bad thing for America as we head into spring.
