Beware the Irrational Exuberance   [Andy McCarthy]

I say this having been guilty of it myself. It's very tempting to get giddy over what is looking like Hillary's collapse. The Clintons have been so destructive of our politics and have hurt so many people along the way that satisfaction over their seeming comeuppance is irresistible. But make no mistake: From a policy perspective, Barack Obama is every bit as bad and in many ways worse. And he can win — as in win the whole thing ... and, because he is undeniably charismatic, is more likely than Hillary to do so.

I'll sing no sad songs for HRC, but I'm going to try to avoid going up in a balloon today.
