That page-one hero-worshipping ode to Ahmadinejad in today’s WaPo Cliff mentioned was written by the celebrated Karl Vick, my candidate—long since—for the Walter Duranty Prize.  For those of you too young to remember, Duranty was the NYT “reporter” in Moscow who was Joe Stalin’s favorite journalist, let’s say.  His “reportage” has long since been proven to have been false, but the Pulitzer Committee somehow has never gotten around to revoking the award they gave him...I’m expecting them to reward Vick soon, he’s a perfect candidate.
