The Humiliation of Maliki, the Wonderfulness of Iran [Michael Ledeen]
Rarely has an event been so atrociously distorted as the defeat of the Iranian-supported militias in Iraq in the past week. I'd devote some space to it here, but I really can't top this. And anyway, I already explained what was going on nearly a week ago, here.
Khamenei rolled the dice, trying to reverse a series of defeats...and got snake eyes.
