Kill or Capture?   [Ramesh Ponnuru]

Mark Shea takes Michael Ledeen to be advocating the killing of enemy combatants who are in the process of surrendering or in prisons. (See here for Ledeen's post, here and here for criticism.) I didn't take Ledeen to be saying either of those indefensible things, myself, but he might want to clarify the point. Then we can focus in on the question of whether "hot pursuit" is a wise way to deal with Iran and Syria. . .
