More Morning After   [Mark Steyn]

Jonah, here's another reason to doubt that David Frum analysis — which, in case you've forgotten, was broadly: Palinization leading to Hoffmanization leading to an ever more extreme GOP with no appeal to moderates and independents.

In Westchester County; the Connecticut coast; Bergen County, N.J.; Fairfax County, Va.; Republicans had a great night. These are exactly the kind of educated affluent suburbs the Frumsters have said today's knuckledragging stumptoothed redneck hick Republican party has no appeal to. He may have to rethink that thesis. The moneyed suburbs have discovered very quickly that they're not quite moneyed enough to be able to afford Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.
