Twenty Three Fifty Five   [John J. Miller]

As many of you know, I've just published my first novel—a historical thriller called The First Assassin. Yesterday afternoon, its Amazon.com sales rank hovered around #50,000. This morning, I was delighted and grateful to see that it has jumped to #2,355. We're still a long way from the best-seller lists, but considering that I have done virtually no publicity, apart from a few mentions on The Corner and e-mails to friends, this is a smashing success. To those of you who have ordered copies: Thank you very much. Everybody else: I hope you'll give it a chance. A dedicated page on my personal website has lots of info, including an excerpt, blurbs, close-up views of the front and back covers, the story behind the book, and so on.
