Duncan...and Alan Keyes?!   [Laura Ingraham]

I cannot help but like Duncan Hunter. Not many men, first of all, can pull off the name Duncan and still be the kind of guy you can count on to beat up the bullies in the schoolyard. Chatted with him before he went on and asked him how his Marine son, serving now in Afghanistan, is doing. He got a bit teared up—no, it wasn't the flop sweat that I have seen on many a political brow today in this Iowa heat—and told me about their last conversation. Is he trying out for SecDef? He claims no, but he looks and sounds the part to The Laura Ingraham Show posse.

Now for the weird stuff—ALAN KEYES HAS SUPPORTERS OUTSIDE IN THE SAUNA TENTS!!! A gaggle of ten Keysters have set up a Keyes for President table, are passing out leaflets and promising a "Keyes October Surprise." (Or do we refer to them as a "pride" of Keysters? A journey? Flock? School?)
