Re Re Silly   [John Podhoretz]

The "McCain squeezes out Rudy" scenario would make more sense if Rudy weren't tied with McCain at 30 percent or so in most Republican primary voter polls. That indicates the two of them aren't niche candidates but rather the two candidates with the broadest appeal. No squeeze there. Plus, Rudy can raise more money than McCain, and faster. This could be a fight to the end between them, and that fight will truly steal all the air from the room — leaving none for Romney, Allen, Newt, Brownback, Pawlenty, or the Easter Bunny.
