John Kasich [Rich Lowry]
Michael Novak floated his name in here a few weeks ago as a VP possibility. Since then pretty much every Republican strategist I've mentioned his name to likes the idea (but he hasn't been part of the general speculation). If McCain needs some working-class/populist help he probably has to go with a Kasich or Pawlenty rather than Romney (although I like Romney as VP for other reasons).
