No More Mr. Nice Guy   [Laura Ingraham]

Okay, I have 20 minutes here and cannot stuff another fried Oreo into my stomach, so I might as well blog. Impression of current speaker: Huckabee is just such a nice, earnest, down-to-earth man.

Which brings me to the question: Do we really want a nice president? I kind of want a mean, tough S.O.B at this point — who can cut the legs out from underneath the Dems and the dinosaur media who are invested in America's defeat. Someone who seems pleasant on the surface but who knows how to send in the daisy-cutters when al Qaeda or Taliban thugs are sleeping. I felt a little bad, by the way, introducing Huckabee with the "Type II" diabetes line, but let's face it, he gives hope to millions who need some inspiration in their battle against the bulge.

The popularity of ABC's The Biggest Loser tells us that personal pork cutting is a winning issue! But, of course, Huckabee doesn't want to be the Straw Poll's "Biggest Loser."

Onward....
