Senate of Clay   [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

From a rightly irritated Senate aide:

The 373 page “clay pigeon” amendment that Reid introduced to the world yesterday was riddled with mistakes. In the time that has passed between the introduction of the clay pigeon yesterday and today the so-called “Masters of the Universe” have decided to redraft the amendment. So for right now, the Senate is stuck doing nothing but waiting for bill supporters to bring forward another draft.

Like last time, when the new amendment is introduced, the Senate will be expected to take it or leave it in a matter of hours.
