Re: Gerson's Giuliani   [Peter Robinson]

“Of all the candidates in the race,” John Pod writes below, “Giuliani is the person who has the greatest claim on having … achieved some very important governmental changes, all of which deserve to be called ‘conservative.’”

 

Which reminds me of a comment that Josh Gilder made the other day.  “In my lifetime,” Josh remarked, “only two politicians have really and truly delivered:  Ronald Reagan and Rudy Giuliani.”  Reagan, Josh argued, saved the entire world.  “And then,” Josh said, “Rudy did something even harder.  He saved New York.”
