I had the same reaction as David — I thought it was just bad in that sort of "I was named after Sir Edmund Hillary" kind of way when I read Jim Geraghty's account, but it was REALLY tough to watch the video last night. And now (as Jennifer Rubin points out at the Spectator's blog) the Boston Globe is reporting that, in a 1978 interview, Romney claimed that he himself had also marched with Dr. King. In an email to the Globe, the campaign acknowledged that this was not true.
Not good.
