Blaming Bush [Ramesh Ponnuru]
The anti-Libby side of this debate is anti-Bush administration as well, obviously. But the pro-Libby side of the debate is almost as harsh toward Bush. As NR's editorial makes clear, this case is a direct result (and, I would add, not the worst result) of Bush's failure to get his own administration under control. Never have theory and practice diverged so sharply as in this administration's support for the "unitary executive."
