McCain's Unity Strategy? [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
I'm not sure I buy Campaign Spot Jim's read of the McCain N.C. GOP slam yesterday (I have no idea what is "unacceptable" for McCain about that ad). (He's said "I've done everything that I can to repudiate and to see that this kind of campaigning does not continue." Contrasting?) I think that's just McCain being McCain and he's gotta hope Republicans want to stop the Dem enough to get out and vote for him. (I think they will.) But I don't this will be the only time he criticizes Republicans just out of habit.
