Obama Skips Berlin   [Rich Lowry]

Here's my column on Obama not marking the fall of the Berlin Wall in Berlin. I don't buy the too-busy excuse. If this had been a priority to him, he'd have arranged his schedule accordingly. Also, a point I couldn't include: This is another instance of Obama rejecting all things Bush. W. made a priority of our relationship with Eastern Europe, so Obama isn't going to. Finally, a correction: I stupidly called Merkel president when she's chancellor. My apologies to Horst Köhler, who actually is the president.
