Former French Prime Minister Raymon Barre accuses the “Jewish Lobby” of victimizing Vichy official Maurice Papon who had been convicted of sending hundreds of French Jews to their deaths.  Barre said, “Opposing the deportation of Jews had not been a matter of major national interest.”
