Is this the Republican Primary or the Tribulation?   [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

From CBN's David Brody:

Brody: Do you wonder at times how you can withstand something like that especially based on the fact that you are being outspent and the infrastructure - they have a more detailed infrastructure especially?

Huckabee: We certainly understand that the resources of the opponents are formidable, staggeringly formidable. They can put a piece of mail in the mailbox every day. They can run television commercials where there's no time to watch the programs 'cause there are attack ads on everyday.

There's nothing I can do about that other than use what resources we have and to try to tell the truth and get our message out there, but ultimately what I sense is happening - people everywhere will come to me, look me in the eye and say "We are claiming Isaiah 54 for you that the weapons formed against you will not prosper." And you know I just have to deep down believe that there is just a hunger in this nation for truth. There is a hunger in this nation for authenticity. They want to necessarily vote for somebody because he's told everyone what a lousy guy the other one is.

They want to see can I take the punches. And am I willing to continue fighting for them even when I'm having to fight all around me those who want to trip me up and not let me get there.

Isaiah 54:17, KJV: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”

Don't get me wrong, I love the Good Book. But I, like my friends Mark and Andy worry about the tears in a winning coalition the Huck is creating.
