The Unbearable Lightness of Rail   [Mark Steyn]

Oh, dear. It's so easy to offend. To add to my woes with the Canadian Islamic Congress, I'm now on the outs with light-rail afficionados. Apparently, sniggering and tittering is not the appropriate response to Bill Richardson's mass transit initiatives:

At the Corner, however, Mark Steyn and Mark Hemingway just thought it was funny.  While we should all expect partisans to make fun of the other party’s candidates, Steyn and Hemingway’s reactions to the mention of light rail denote a lack of seriousness that is depressingly common in the conservative commentariat.

The post is headlined "The Corner And Light Rail". I fear our credibility just jumped the tracks.
