Hi, I'm Mike Huckabee and I Have No Money   [Rich Lowry]

That was pretty much the theme of his speech, with as many digs at Romney as possible included. "I can't buy you, I can't even rent you"; "the straw poll is not about electing a straw man"; you're "buying the cereal, not just the box"; and, at the end, electing a president should not be "based on the raising of money." Huckabee is a natural speaker, but the effect is always ruined for me because I can't shake off how canned all his stories are. But if you're a conservative who doesn't buy Romney and/or resents the slickness and wealth of the Romney operation, there are worse places to park a vote.
