"We Are All Georgians Now" [Cliff May]
Glad Rudy quoted that line. I was on CNN today with Jamie Rubin who said that when McCain said that he was signaling that he was exhibiting bellicosity — as John Kennedy did when he identified with the people of Berlin during the Cold War.
If that does not illustrate that the Democratic Party is re no longer the party of Kennedy, Truman and Roosevelt, what does?
(One answer: The fact that Joe Lieberman spoke at this convention.)
