Well, opponents of "comprehensive immigration reform" have already beaten a president who wanted it. Maybe we can do it again.

As for health care, I don't agree with McCain on a patient's bill of rights and I'm agnostic on re-importing prescription drugs. But his major health-care proposals are pretty strongly free-market. They're basically borrowed from Rep. John Shadegg, and in some respects they are more deregulatory than those of Giuliani or Romney.
