A Dolphin Out of Water   [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

The dolphin was silly, but very campaigny — above board and totally expected. But CPAC got out of hand (again) when, as Governor Romney made his way around the Omni Shoreham (in the exhibitors section), a dozen or so Brownback supporters followed him yelling "Flip Flop." Again, it's a campaign, things get mean. But a conservative being heckled at a conservative event? In the end we're all talking about the same things, presumably on the same team — all thinking the movement and the audience are at least important enough to warrant an appearance. Well, obviously Sam Brownback doesn't think Mitt Romney that way. But I also presume Sam Brownback can't be a fan of the rude, unnecessary tactic.
