Nothing to See Here, Move Along Folks   [Mark Krikorian]

Rod points out the PC absurdity of the New York Times not using the word "Muslim" until almost 500 words into their story on the Bronx plot to bomb synagogues and attack an Air National Guard base. Even though the plot is described as "home-grown," it's not clear if there's an immigration angle; the Times had only this to say about that: "Some of the men were of Arabic descent, and one is of Haitian descent, according to law enforcement officials. At least three were United States citizens, according to officials."

As Rod points out, the New York Post story was, as expected, more forthright about the plotters' motivations. But I found this bit particularly disturbing:

The other three suspects converted to Islam after recent stints in jail, police sources said.

Frank Gaffney, Daniel Pipes, and others have long warned about Muslim proselytizing in prisons, and we're starting to see the dangerous results.
