Campaign to Keep Gitmo Open [Andy McCarthy]
The pro-military, anti-terrorism group, Move America Forward, will be holding an event at the National Press Club in Washington this morning. MAF will be presenting representatives of the 9/11 Families and Gold Star Families to debut its new ad asking President Obama to reconsider his order to close the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, where approximately 245 alien enemy combatants are still being held.
The ad can be seen on the MAF website, here. There's also a Gitmo petition.
In my NRO column today, I attempt to explain why, if you didn't have Gitmo, you'd have to invent it.
