A Note on Crist [David Freddoso]
Several Floridians have written me something like the following:
Crist has high favorables statewide because a lot of Democrats like him. Around here they don't vote in the Republican primary.
Fair enough. But the Crist endorsement isn't about conservatives. It's about Giuliani supporters who are watching their guy drown and thinking of jumping ship. McCain is the other guy they are still considering.
This is why the endorsement is hugely important.
