"Continuing Unemployment Claims Rise to Record High 6.8 Million"
Bob Stein of First Trust Advisors interprets:
Shifts in continuing claims always lag shifts in initial claims, which appear to have already started a downward trend consistent with the recession ending in May. Continuing claims may not peak for at least another several months.
