The excellent Douglas Murray points out that "the story is running big across the Middle East, and people there are seeing Britain's surrender to sharia played out on a news-loop."
William II's promise in delivering the country from James II's tyranny was, "the liberties of England and the Protestant Religion I will maintain." Rowan Cantuar has managed to offer up both in one speech.
