Jihad in America: The Hizb-ut-Tahrir Conference [Andy McCarthy]
Sorry for the radio silence this week — I'm knuckled down on a book deadline. But I came up for air to talk to our buddy Guy Benson about the Islamist group Hizb-ut-Tahrir, which wants to supplant our Constitution with shariah. The group, one of whose alumni is KSM, had its first national convention in Chicago last week — called "Fall of Capitalism, Rise of Islam." Afterwards, one of the participants called in to Guy's radio show. He writes about it at Townhall, here. Very interesting stuff (the conversation, that is — there's also a bit of reaction from moi).
