Mark Warner not running for president   [Rich Lowry]

I'm told it's a rare case where a public figure actually wants to spend more time with his family. His wife Lisa and his oldest daughter apparently opposed a run, and Warner was dissuaded by that. His wife, I understand, was never terribly comfortable with public life, although she had grown used to and eventually was comfortable being First Lady of Virginia. She had given the OK for Warner's early exploratory efforts, but opposed a run. At least that's what I'm hearing...
