Explaining the Late Deciders   [Lisa Schiffren]

My guess about the late deciders who vote for Hillary, is that they were Hillary default voters who were looking to see if there was anything better out there, and decided, ultimately, that there wasn't. You wonder how much real enthusiasm they will bring to the process.

In some sense, most of Obama's support — all of which is recent — is comprised of people who were looking for an alternative to Hillary and found him. Except, of course, all the new, young voters, who are there only because of him. The latter group will work hard for him, but may well fall away if she is the candidate.
