Networks face quandary over Saddam execution

CBS News Vice President Paul Friedman all but ruled
out showing footage of Saddam's hanging, saying, "I
personally believe it is beyond the pale to show
executions."

TERENCE SMITH: Last Sunday, the CBS Newsmagazine "60
Minutes" aired a story that showed Dr. Jack Kevorkian
administering a lethal injection to Thomas Youk, a
52-year-old Michigan man suffering from Lou Gehrig's
disease.
