Biden   [Jonah Goldberg]

I was off getting my haircut (vital information, I know). So I had to turn Biden off before the end, but I cannot believe nobody around here mentioned that Biden — Biden! — had the chutzpah to claim someone else was filibustering. He's known for delivering such long opening statements he has no room left for questions. And that baseball metaphor discussion he opened with today lasted about twice as long as it needed to.

That said, I have a strange fascination with Biden. I think he's legitimately a smart guy, but there's so much other stuff going on when he talks — ego, preening, a complete lack of self-editing etc — that I find it kind of mesmerizing.
