Wishful AP Thinking?   [Kathryn Jean Lopez]

A newsroom sources tells me:

Senior Advisors to the president are saying there is "no meeting tomorrow" to discuss a closure status on Gitmo. Multiple WH advisors say they were unaware of this news report and are using the term "wave off" on the wire story moving now.
Advisors say there is a National Security Council meeting on the schedule tomorrow mid morning.

Advisors say the president's position has not changed. he has stated publicly that he wants to see Gitmo closed.

Advisors tell NBC News:

"The administration is not "nearing a decision" on changing our long-held policy to shut down Gitmo in a responsible way. There is no meeting tomorrow."
